Location: Haifa, Israel
Company: An Israeli-based medical device company operating in the global market is looking for an R&D mechanical engineer to take ownership of end-to-end mechanical development of multidisciplinary products, from concept to mass production.
Responsibilities
- Independently execute full-cycle mechanical design, from concept through production
- Design plastic components (Injection Molding) with a strong focus on manufacturability (DFM/DFA)
- Provide ongoing support to production lines and work closely with manufacturing engineering
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams (electronics & software) for system integration
- Work directly with local and global suppliers
- Prepare engineering ation (drawings, specifications, reports)
- Support product validation, testing, and transfer to production
Requirements
- B.Sc. in Mechanical Engineering – mandatory
- 3+ years of experience in mechanical design
- At least 2 years of experience in multidisciplinary product development
- Proven experience in plastic design (Injection Molding)
- Strong knowledge of machining processes (CNC, turning)
- Experience with DFM/DFA
- Full proficiency in SolidWorks
- Familiarity with additional manufacturing processes (e.g., 3D printing)
- Experience working with suppliers
- Experience in mechanical-electronic system integration
- High level of English – mandatory
